Consonant Wisdom
I knew a book could change
a look, a perspective
that I held, or an alignment
deemed important seemed
to form the man as well…
or a printed page could set
the stage for a seeker
to dig deeper for the truth
that twinkles inside, or
how a line of words in rhyme
could make the spirit rise
or when is heard a
single word that inspires
emotions pyres or brings
to repentant shores but never
better has a letter moved me
to my inner core… a consonant
wisdom that she sent which brought
me to her door.
